Rezumat

Lucrarea de față are ca obiectiv recenzia literaturii de specialitate actuale referitoare la conceptele și practicile relevante pentru suportul psihologic destinat personalului care execută misiuni și activități operative la nivelul instituțiilor de ordine și siguranță publică. Pentru asigurarea eficienței și eficacității activităților de suport psihologic este necesară integrarea lor într-un sistem cuprinzător, care să vizeze toate fazele executării unei misiuni operative punctuale și să implice participarea tuturor părților interesate, fundamentarea sau informarea acestora prin rezultatele cercetărilor științifice, precum și preluarea și adaptarea practicilor din domeniu recunoscute la nivel internațional. În rândul participanților la sistemul menționat, psihologul joacă un rol esențial.
