Abstract

The present article aims to analyse the ontogenetic evolution of stress and coping, from the first mentionings till present time. An analysis of the leap that the two terms have known allows us to have a critical vision of the best approach, bringing new perspectives and research fields. With this analysis, we aim to begin a program for training students, in which we teach them how to reduce their stress and learn new coping strategies. We also discuss the necessity and importance of an online approach for reducing stress and developing coping strategies for all students. There are both limits and benefits in any online program. The limits include the lack of direct, personal connection. And the advantages include scalability, lower costs, and easier access.
