Abstract

The aim of the current study is to identify the relation between Dark Triad, locus of control and empathy, as well as to examine the differences according to professional field (medical and engineering) and age. Individuals with high Dark Triad scores, low empathy, and reduced guilt tend to externalize responsibility for their actions. Engineering students show stronger manipulative and cynical tendencies and higher psychopathy-related traits, while medical professionals display greater empathic capacity.
