Moral development and human resources – The case of students in human resources programs
Keywords:
moral development, human resources, psychology of moralityAbstract
This article proposes an approach of moral development from a psycho-social perspective, trying to identify the relevant dimensions for moral development, but also to measure this concept on a specific target group. More specifically, we aimed to test the adequacy and consistency of the proposed theoretical model, and then to see to what extent the target group of Human Resources students differs, in terms of moral development, from students in other specializations. A further analysis focused on the differences observed, in terms of the values of the Moral Development Index (MDI), between men and women. The research falls within the area of psycho-sociology of morality, with application on the generic field of human resources.
